Painting, Pressure and an Extra Large #1 with Diet.

Ever notice that when youve got something coming up, something on your mind, that things go black and white? Not that you cant see that something is brown or green, but that everything loses its color? That music is of the elevator variety and television consists of movement and white noise? I wonder how many things I miss in life because my mind is elsewhere? How many of Gods little blessings go unnoticed because my attention is on myself and the things that I need to handle instead of giving them to the big guy....

I needed to get my mind off of things. Im the kind of guy that is like Russel Crow from a beautiful mind. My mind can be sharp as a tack... but if left to wonder... it can be a terrible dis-service to me. I had to get away from the routine... bring in some color... and no matter what I organized... what I planned... what I listened to or watched, (Dodgers lost), I couldnt get my mind on to something else.

I had an epiphany.

I had a Big Mac. With an Extra Large Fries. And a Large Coke. It was the first Hamburger that I have had in at least a month... maybe 2. It is against my diet, against all that I would ever want to eat... and it was great. It was so against the grain and for some very important moments, 54% of my Daily fat intake took me away to a very good place. As I sit now there are things that bug me, things that hurt me and things that lay heavy on my heart and mind. But I think that it is at these moments that we add color to the painting that is.... life. Not that adding color takes away the difficulties... but it sure does make that painting alot more beautiful.
