My night with Manny

Well... it was a zoo. Or a circus. Or something that has to do with ALOT of bananas. It was bonkers last night at Dodger stadium. Manny had landed and the place was ELECTRIC. Let me get this out of the way.... The dodgers lost again. They are 3 back and NEED the next 2 games....

Now... onto Manny. It was amazing. As soon as Andrew and I got there they were already selling Manny gear. I made sure I was one of the first to don a new Ramirez 99 shirt.



When Manny went on the field and into the batters box... the whole place just stood and cheered. Funny, he grounded out in his first at bat and people CHEERED him... for an out! Everyone was punchdrunk by the spectacle of the mythical dreadlocked homerun hitter.



Although he didnt hit the big fly or knock in the winning run, Manny still came through and went 2-4. I got a chance to video his first rip in blue.




Overall, it was a great night that was filled with all the thrills of a playoff game... just without the big hit or win that we needed. But it will DEFINITELY be alot more fun to watch the blue crew with Manny stalking the batters box.
