Winners of 9 out of 10... the Dodgers are in a ROLL. And the Dbacks... well.. they have lost 6 in a row and now the boys have opened up a nice 3 1/2 game lead.
Some things to point out.....
Brad Penny came off the DL yesterday. Pitched in the mid 90s which is the only thing that I was worried about... making sure that he still had velocity.
Ethier kept up his hot bat. And by running out a grounder in the 9th is gave us one more chance to put this guy up there....
2 MAMMOTH homers last night. This guy is the most powerful hitter Ive seen. Period. Amazing how different of a team he makes us. Everyone just seems to be hitting along with him.
And a little shout out to our kids Cory Wade and Scott Elbert. Both of them have been pitching fantastic and are GREAT additions.
Tomorrow we start off a SCARY series vs. the rockies IN colorado. They always seem to give us problems and we really need to keep the heat on the Dbacks.
(Dad and I go see the Deniro Pacino movie tomorrow too:) )
