One swing, One win, 20 years erased....

That didnt take long did it? I mean, I was thinking that I would wait untill we got swept by the magical cubbies to post... saying it was such a great year and we are still waiting for a playoff victory.

But HOLY CRAP!



With one sweet swing of the bat James Loney erased 20 years of mediocrity. The Dodgers havent won a game 1 since Kirk Gibson hit the most memorable Homerun in baseball history... James tried to do his best impression. A Grand Slam to put the dodgers ahead...

And then Manny hit the craziest, bent over homerun that I have ever seen. Wow.



Game 1 is in the books. And although it does not guarantee us a series victory... it does give us a slight edge.
