Fireworks abound

What a fun night at the ball park. I have to say I was more than disappointed that we did not win our 6th in a row, especially after the way that we fought back to tie it in the 9th. But we fell one game back in the standing with 39 games to go. Hopefully we can make it up in the matinée today.

One of the great things about last night was that fans had the ability to walk down on the field and watch a fireworks show. Even though the nights are starting to get a little bit colder... there was a definite feel of early July. I walked out to center field where I joined a majority of the crowd who stayed afterwards as well...

I loved being able to sit on the grass. I sat where Manny was roaming earlier in the night... I even... grossly enough... got to see some "manny seeds" from his sunflowers that he was chewing earlier.... gross.. but cool none the less. Dodger stadium is known for its field conditions and I thought it was soooo fun to take off my shoes... and put them on the grass like shoeless Joe Jackson...

They played oldies while a cavalcade of lights exploded across the night sky...

Dodger stadium is a GREAT family venue. I turned around while the explosions lit up the night sky and watched the expressions on the faces of all the kids with their families... running around on the field where their heroes were just moments before.

Dodger stadium never dissapoints and always will provide you with some fireworks... before or after :)
